Miss Vicky’s Offhand Remarks is an independent publication launched in April 2025 by Vicky Smallman.

Vicky lives in Ottawa where she works in the trade union movement. She has two kids rapidly entering adulthood and lives with them, her partner and her canine companion, Otto, in Hintonburg, a central Ottawa neighbourhood.

This site is an experiment - a return to blogging after a long hiatus. Work is busy, life is complicated and times are scary. Let's see where this goes.
